I have worked with Ed for almost 3 years and my almost 65 year-old body is probably in the best shape ever! At first I just wanted to lose weight, but in time my flexibility, coordination, balance and overall strength have all improved greatly-in fact, I recently completed a backpacking trip up to Half Dome without any problem (my last trip was over 20 years ago!)

Ed is professional, confident, attentive, a stickler for proper form, and has such positive energy-always encouraging, making modifications when necessary, but still presenting challenges (and not accepting excuses!) Our sessions are hard work for me, but also lots of fun! He is just an exceptional trainer and friend in every way!

After having had 2 total knee replacements about 2 years ago, I decided to follow my friends’ (Lynda, Carolyn, and Jane) recommendations to work out with Edward. I wanted to be able keep doing the traveling, hiking, and other activities I love, so I took the plunge. These past 14 months of Ed’s workouts have always been challenging and varied, but tailored to my abilities and limitations. The huge improvement in my strength and flexibility is proof that working out with Ed is the most valuable thing that I am doing for myself.

My gratitude to you, Ed, for your expertise, patience, and motivation. I send you a big “Thank You!” every time I’m hiking, bicycling , or just being able to go up and down stairs without pain!

I can't believe my progress in the eight months I've been working out with Coach Payuyao. I have gained strength, lost inches, and become more confident in my ability to take on physical activity. His approach to being willing to individualize my program adjusting as needed for injury and energy level has kept me motivated and enthusiastic. Above all, I really appreciate his expertise in explaining not only what we're doing , but also why. (He knows all the fancy scientific names.). Thanks to all the guys at ASW.

Sarah

Great things happen to those who work hard and smart! Sarah is the perfect example of this. Her journey started just over a year ago with the goal of improving her physical appearance, feeling great about her image and self, and being healthier overall. Sarah has now lost over 30lbs and decrease her body fat over 10% . She has always worked hard, always showed up even when she didn't feel like it. The dedication and commitment now shows in her great and strong physique she has developed and still developing that serves as an inspiration for others to get active!

Sheri

Sheri has now lost a total of over 60lbs and she is completely changing before our eyes. She continues to lose weight through a strength training program combining powerlifting, bodybuliding and conditioning while doing minimal cardio on her off days. With a daily caloric intake of over 2,000 calories, Sheri continues to progress by monitoring her macronutrient intake and not restricting herself from the foods she loves. Look out for her come November as she will be competing in her first powerlifting competition in which she hopes to squat over 300lbs as well as deadlift over 315lbs! Amazing work Sheri and keep it up!

Will

This dude right here Willy Fresh has come a long way.. Gaining over 30lbs of lean body mass or what other people would refer to as "Gainz" he is now in track to decorate his frame even more now that the new program has started.

When we started working together Mr. Fresh wasn't all that strong when it came to weight lifting. Now sporting a solid 275lbs deadlift and solid numbers all around after running several overall strength programs to strengthen his stability, proper mechanics, general strength, motor recruitment, work capacity and maximum strength.
